# 11.3 DSM and DTM

* **DSM:** DSM file will be downloaded in the .tiff file format which shows the surface model. These types of files are useful for identifying the levels of the ground or land. These models include the natural and artificial structures on the land.

* **DTM:** DTM models contain natural landscape elements like rivers and ridges as vector features which can be downloaded by using the DTM report from download assets.
