12. Share Asset
This feature provides restricted sharing of datasets amongst the users.
DroneNaksha provides this powerful feature to the users. The facility of share assets will allow users of DroneNaksha to share a certain dataset along with its contents with an external user. This sharing of the data will be temporary and only for calculation purposes. The owner or any user who has created some plans with imagesets for processing can share them with others after inviting and authorizing them through emails.
Read-only access is permitted up to a certain extent. In addition, the user who invites another user has the power to revoke access to the assets at any moment.
Note: Read only access is given to the user. Modifications done by the user will not be saved after refreshing the system.
Instead of always creating new plans, it's better to use existing plans on sharing basis. This will allow a reduction in time and space utilization. An existing imageset can be shared with an external user or any existing user also. The owner of the imageset can share the same data with multiple users. But the users cannot share that data with other users. Permission for sharing the data is available only to the owner.
Any external user may request an imageset for temporary use. The external user will have access only for a stipulated duration. The owner of the imageset will handle all these activities. The owner will hold the right to revoke access to the assets anytime he wants. The user will be allowed to view a map and download the reports if required. The user is not allowed to do the modifications in the plan and imagesets. Thus, the integrity and originality are maintained. The security is provided to the original imageset.
The user will go to the share option, as shown in red marked potion in the picture below, on the image collection page which will open a Pop-up, where he will enter the emails of the users he wants to share the collection with. If there are multiple users then the emails must be separated by commas.

9.1.1 Share imageset to an Existing User
The external user may be a new user to DronNeaksha or an existing user. If the existing user is there then follow the procedure mentioned below:
Share the imageset with existing User:
Click on
--> enter email address of the intended user

The owner will go to the "Share" option on the image collection page which will open a Pop-up, where he will enter the emails of the users he wants to share the collection with. If there are multiple users then the emails must be separated by commas.

Invite the User to Share Assets

Send an invitation with a valid email address
When the invitation is sent, the intended user will receive an email containing an invite link.

Received Invitation mail
After getting the invitation mail the user has to click on the "View Now" button to check and accept the invitation. Now the user can view the imagesets shared with him as shown in image:

Shared imageset
The user can also see the name of the owner who had shared images with him as shown in above image.
9.1.2 Share imageset to new user:
Note: For a new user -->create Aeromegh Account with the credentials sent through the mail --> Wait for secure share message --> Select DroneNaksha --> use shared imageset
If the owner wants to share the imageset with a new user then follow the procedure as mentioned below:
Create the account on Aeromegh with the credentials sent through the mail.

window for new user
Wait for the setup secure for you.

Wait for Secure Share
Now the user can use share asset facility by clicking on "Take me there".

Share setup in AeroMegh
Once the user’s account is created, he will be redirected to AeroMegh dashboard to have the access to DroneNaksha. Click on "Take me there".
Click on DroneNaksha and then the user will be able to see the imageset shared with him.

Upon signup, the invited user will see the copied project along with the shared tag on each asset in the project.

Shared Imageset
The entire project should be erased if the user deletes the shared image collection.
If the user who shared the assets revokes the picture collection's access, the user with whom he shared the collection will no longer be able to see the assets in his dashboard.
9.2 Working with imagesets shared:
Now the user can use the shared imageset to view different functionalities associated with it. The user is able to see the mapping plan and imagesets shared with him. The right-hand drawer shows the options to work with the image such as polygon, line, view map, etc.

View Map in Sharing Mode
The above picture shows the imageset shared by whom in the blue marked portion. Image analysis is shown in the red marked portion whereas the green marked portion on the left-hand drawer shows the services provided by AeroMegh. The tabs at the bottom allow the user to change the image view from orthomosaic, DTM, DSM, and 3D models (Points Cloud, Texture, and both).
3D models include points cloud, texture, and both options.
- Point Cloud: A point cloud is a set of data points that are described by a coordinate system. A point cloud, for example, can define the shape of a real or constructed physical system in a 3D coordinates system. Point clouds are generally produced by photogrammetry software, which measures many points on the external surfaces of objects around them. In geographic information systems, point clouds are one of the sources used to make digital elevation models of the terrain. Point clouds can also be used to represent volumetric data. Multi-sampling and data compression can be achieved by using point clouds.

- Texture View: A texture is a representation of one or more components of a feature. Visualizer apps (viewers) that display items saved as spatial geometries frequently use textures. A viewer might, for example, present an office building (three-dimensional solid) using textures rather than colors to achieve a more realistic visualization. Two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometries can both benefit from textures.

Texture View
The image below shows the more clear view of the actual land. Normally these types of images are used in 3D games.

Texture View
The user can now see the images in different formats and also download the assets in the required format as shown below:

Download Assets
The user can download assets in formats such as orthomosaic, NDVI, DEM, DTM, etc. For details on these types of reports, please refer to section 6 of this user manual.
The user is allowed to use this data only for doing calculations and downloading the reports. He is not allowed to tamper with the data. The user can change the shape of the map by dragging the points on the map. But these changes are temporary. The modifications done by the user will not be saved on the imagessets. Once the system is refreshed no altered data will be saved.
The new user can use the shared imageset only for 15 days. The intimation related to expiry or continuing with a subscription will be given through mail. The user can subscribe to the product if he wants to continue to use the shared imageset. Whereas, the owner is having all the rights to revoke the permission to share the images. Either the owner will terminate the privilege to use the shared images or after 15 days it will terminate automatically.
Note: The owner of the imageset will hold the right to revoke the access of the assets anytime he wants to.
As the modifications done by the users are not stored there is no harm to the original images and mapping plan. Hence, the security and originality is not affected.
